Award for the most innovative product
As part of the events of the 70th anniversary of the School of Horticulture and Visual Arts, on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, a competition was held for students of biotechnical schools on the topic Vertical planting with cacti and succulents.
A team from the Maribor Biotechnical School also participated in the competition under the sponsorship of IKO9 doo. Student Barbara Lampreht competed under the mentorship of Marija Kolmanič Bučar, and Nina Marksl and Bojana Robič helped her prepare for the competition.
At the competition, the team planted living pictures in IKO9 living walls and earned the award for the most innovative product.
The products were evaluated by Marjan Planinšek, a renowned Slovenian florist and international judge at flower and gardening competitions.
